How can I backup my web site data?

myshophosting servers use redundant RAID array storage to ensure the security of your data in the case of hardware failure, however this does not cover acidental or malicious loss of data! We recommend all clients keep a copy of their website on their local PC and on CD. Web site data can easily be backed-up from within our cPanel.

To backup your site data, login to the cPanel.

Select the backup option...

Choose the Backup option...

We reccommend you create partial backups of your Home Folder and also any SQL databases that you may have.

cPanel will now give you the option of saving the backup file. You should save your file to your PC and then back it up onto CD.
