Yes - mshShoppingCart supports the sitemap format.
The location of the sitemap file is /sitemap.php (if your using v5.0.6 or below) or /xmlsitemap.php (if your running 5.5.2 or above)
Example: www.yoursite.com/sitemap.php or www.yoursite.com/xmlsitemap.php
As soon as your mshShoppingCart site is live the sitemap should be submitted to Google - We will normally do this for you unless you request otherwise.
Step 1: Goto www.google.com and login using the login link in the top right hand corner.
Step 2: Click on 'My Account' in the top right hand corner of the Google home page.
Step 3: Click on 'Webmaster tools' - you may need to sign into webmaster tools at this point.
Step 4: Hopefully you have allready added your site to the webmaster tools area - If not please contact support and we will help you list your site.
Step 5: Click on your site and then in the 'Site Configuration' section on the left look for 'Sitemaps' and click on it.
Step 6: Click on the 'Submit a Sitemap' button and then enter 'sitemap.php' or 'xmlsitemap.php' in the box and click 'Submit Sitemap' button.
Your sitemap has now been submitted to Google. It will take about 24 to 48 hours (sometimes more) before diagnostic and ranking information becomes available after submitting your sitemap. We suggest logging back in a few days later and taking a look at the available data.
If you have migrated to mshShoppingCart from another ecommerce platform (such as osCommerce, eziMerchant etc) its important that we look at the 'Crawl Errors' and that we create suitible redirects for these pages.
